Thank heavens for clear, starry nights. This week has been grey, dark and rainy - but almost every night it has cleared. Bright stars and the moon have been visable - the nights have felt lighter and brighter than the days... Clear nights always make me feel at ease and the meaning of life seems simple enough - we're all a part of the universe - we live for a short time, we die - that's all there is to it.

I love ice cream - in Rome I found this shop where they sold Coni Norge ice cream. Never heard of Norge ice cream before - suitable name for an ice cream, though... Had all kinds in Rome - strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, lemon, wild berries, watermelon, mango - had a mangosorbet from the ice cream shop next to the Trevi fountain - the best I ever have had...
Italian ice cream hmmmm,,,,,,,,,!

In my other blog I used Hello for adding pictures - now I suddenly realised there's an easier way - just uploading images from my own computer. Great! Went to Benetton today - beautiful colours like in this photograph. Bought a scarf! Got an urge for bright, light and clear colours - love green, all kinds of green. No clouds tonight - I shall look for bright stars...

It's a sunny Monday morning and I've created a new blog. I'll publish this one in English and try to maintain it as a private "diary"kind of blog - will keep my Norwegian one. When I learn some more Italian - I'll practice in this blog. This will be my language blog! As ¨'m supposed to be working right now, I'll continue blogging at home. Have taken lots of photographs I'll publish later.
